The Warrington Community Ambulance Corps., “WCAC”, provides Basic and Advanced Life Support patient services to the residents of our community in accordance with Act 45, the Standard Operating Guidelines and By-Laws of this organization.  All patients are treated equally, with professionalism and respect, regardless of race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, age, and creed, nature of illness or ability to pay for services rendered.  We provide these services with professionally trained and certified career and volunteer personnel working together as a team with patients, family members, police and other medical and emergency service providers.

Your membership fee entitles you (for any member of your household, should you choose to purchase a family membership) to unlimited emergency ambulance transportation, provided those services are medically necessary. Determination of Medical Necessity is based on the Federal Medicare and State Medical Assistance guidelines and/or other guidelines published by your insurance carrier.

Your membership fee entitles Warrington Community Ambulance Corps (WCAC) to bill and collect any insurance reimbursement you may have available through your insurance coverage. Should your insurance carrier make payment for these services directly to you, you will be responsible to submit that payment to WCAC. Your membership fee covers 100% of any out-of-pocket copayment, cost sharing or deductible expense that your insurance carrier deems to be your responsibility.

Warrington Community Ambulance Corps, Inc. is a Pennsylvania Non-Profit Corporation organized in 1971 to provide Emergency Medical Services to Warrington Township (a Township of the Second Class in Bucks County that occupies roughly 13.8 square miles and has approximately 17,580 residents) and the surrounding communities including Doylestown Township, Warwick Township, and Warminster Township.

We also provide services to Chalfont Borough, New Britain Township, New Britain Borough, Montgomery Township, Horsham Township, and Doylestown Borough on an as-needed basis through various mutual aid agreements. Warrington Community Ambulance Corps also provides services to residents outside of these areas when circumstances require.

Our organization, a combination paid/volunteer department consisting of approximately 60 members. is certified as an Advanced Life Support (ALS) Provider by the Pennsylvania Department of Health. We are fully staffed by our paid personnel on a 24x7x365 basis, with volunteer staff serving to augment our primary duty crews. All field personnel are state-certified according to the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Regulations of the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
